James Briggs Ltd are one of Europe’s largest and versatile consumer chemicals businesses. This scope and scale requires a responsive and agile partner to assist with their ever-changing requirements.

JBL required the creation of a new tanker unloading area to provide containment and segregation to chemical unloading. Danby Projects were appointed to design and install a new system of heavy duty drainage to create this safe area.

In addition to this work we simultaneously carried out service yard replacements to degraded concrete roads. As the site operates 7 days a week, this had to be carried out during normal operations and along side explosive chemicals. Rapid early strength concrete design was utilised to minimise disruption to the client.

Careful planning and close working relationship lead to a successful project completion, on time and in budget.
